The debate focused on relevant questions from a board of directors' perspective, such as the role of independent directors in remuneration committees. The question of the board's responsibilities in setting remuneration policies and remuneration levels was also raised.

The board's interaction with shareholders, when it comes to informing them about remuneration also received special attention. Finally, the panel pointed out that such governance measures could foster a long term success of the company.
